We are back with another exterior and powertrain review of 2027 Volkswagen Atlas. let me tell you if you are looking to buy an mid-size plus three-row SUV and having an eye on this vehicle you must read this review before buying it.
Exterior Styling & Lighting

Road presence and exterior gives you the first first impression, the 2027 Volkswagen Atlas features modern updated front profile. you will get full sized front light spanning from one end to another with WV logo in the center. grille’s front top is gloss black and features decorative air curtain style below it.
In the side profile, you will find similar silhouette to its previous models. It features massive 20-inch gloss black aluminum alloy wheels which looks good with VW center cap. Factory tires will be Kumho Crugen HP71 tires (255/50R20 all around).
Mirrors now have LED turn signals and body color painted rear door handles and fuel refilter cap. on the roof you will find shark fin antenna and a panoramic sunroof. in the rear there is rear wiper mounted little lower than usual but works best. Full width LED taillight is given in the rear which also has integrated turn signals. Exhaust is hidden below or tucked under the bumper it looks coll but i thing WV should have improved its design especially when its an 3-row suv.
Overall, Exterior looks cool and modern but it is still not there to match those with competitors like Palisade or Honda Passport.
Powertrain, Performance & Towing

The most important thing about any SUV is it’s heart and Volkswagen has worked on it. they have tuned and worked on the existing 2.0-liter turbocharged inline 4-cylinder engine. it comes with the smooth 8-speed automatic transmission and upgraded to produce impressive 258 lb-ft of torque.
As per our test it offers fuel efficiency of 20 mpg on the city roads and 27 mpg on the highways with fuel capacity of 18.6 gallons. combined fuel efficiency is 23 mpg which i personally feel impressive being a 3-row SUV.
