After being discontinued in 2023, Ford Fiesta is making comeback in 2026 as an fully electric and tech-forward hatchback. Led by ex-Tesla engineer Alan Clarke and a 300-strong “skunkworks” team (with talent from Rivian, Apple, and F1), the project aims to create “the world’s most efficient EV platform”

Design Upgrade
2026 Ford Fiesta is going to be a sharper, more aerodynamic and more modern, Digital renders suggest:
- Front Fascia: In the front you can expect slim LED headlights with closed hexagonal grille (optimized for airflow) with signature DRLs creating a modern and aggressive look.

- Rear: In the rear there is C-shaped LED taillights which has wider stance and ford logo in the center in the chrome accents.
New Platform & Performance
New dedicated EV platform being developed for 2026 Ford Fiesta with with LFP (lithium iron phosphate) batteries they are little less costly but more durable and better performing. We can expect output of 100–150 PS (≈98–148 hp) and a targeted 250-mile range on full charge.
Top speed is estimated to be around 137 mph (220 km/h) in performance variants. There is rumor of hybrid engine also, e.g., EcoBoost MHEV leaves room for ICE variants in emerging markets.
