This is teased in Nissan’s global roadmap with looks like boxy, rugged EV (resembling the classic Xterra) enters production in late 2026 as a 2027 model. This will be built in the plant of Canton, Mississippi, sharing SK On-sourced batteries with the Infiniti QX65 EV.
Technological Advancement
Nissan is also working on Third-Gen e-POWER a series of hybrid system where generator is 1.5L gasoline engine. this is going to have 15% improved better highway efficiency and 20% overall system efficiency gains. It will also reduce vibrations and noise from the cabin and have shared parts with Nissan’s EV motors.
