2027 Hyundai Tucson is an upcoming fifth-generation redesign which is Hyundai’s best-selling compact SUV. Recent spy shots and and reports highlights hybrid-only powertrains and advanced interior tech.

Exterior Redesign
Prototype and spy shots shows it has a tougher, squared-off profile with sharp lines. New H-shaped headlights will be there similar to Santa Fe. Grille gets new signature parametric design with entirely new rear taillights’. This is boxy styled design with longer wheelbase for improved interior space and cargo space.
Interior and Technology
The cabin adopts a futuristic layout with dual 12.3-inch screens in a 16:9 ratio, powered by Hyundai’s new Pleos OS featuring a smartphone-like interface and Gleo AI assistant for voice controls.
Standard tech includes Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, wireless charging, navigation, and an app store called Pleos Playground. Level 2.5 autonomous driving aids elevate safety with features like adaptive cruise, blind-spot monitoring, and safe exit assist as core equipment.
Powertrain Lineup
2027 Hyundai Tucson will offer hybrid-exclusive setups, including a next-gen HEV with 235-255 horsepower and up to 280 lb-ft torque from a 1.6L turbo engine. The plug-in-hybrid variant is likely to achieve 100 km of electric-only range with impressive 268 hp system.
All models will offer eight-speed automatic and optional all-wheel-drive variant. There are also rumour of N-line model which will be high performance model producing 300 hp.
Pricing and Launch
US pricing starts around $30,000, higher than the current model’s base due to hybrid tech, with Korean estimates at $24,000 equivalent. Expect arrivals in Q3 or late 2026 for North America, following Korea debuts.
