The 2027 Mercedes-AMG GT 4-Door Coupe is making it’s shift to full electrification after revealing AMG GT XX concept in 2025. This will be built on the AMG.EA platform and has over 1,000 horsepower from axial-flux motors.

Design Evolution
The 2027 model is going to have low-slung fastback silhouette which i feel inspired from the GT XX concept. pre production prototype was first seen in the December 2025 which is likely to feature aggressive aerodynamics and a sportier stance than the current V8-powered GT 4-Door.
In the exterior updates we will see new star-motif headlights similar to recent AMG models and new front bumper. This camouflaged prototype features sleeker profile suited for high-speed stability.
Powertrain Specs
2027 Mercedes-AMG GT 4-Door Coupe’s power comes from axial-flux electric motors making it a high performance electric drive unit. You will also get dual motors at rear and a single booster at the front they in combination with each other produces over 1,000 hp along with all-wheel drive potential.
It is going to feature liquid-cooled high-performance battery for peak output of upto 1,000 kW, this has 800V architecture for ultra-fast charging—10-80% in under 20 minutes.

Interior Highlights
You going to see a tilted dashboard with a 10.25-inch digital cluster with 14-inch central infotainment, and a passenger-side 14-inch screen.
Infotainment is likely to feature MB.OS with AMG-specific graphics. it’s key highlights are going to be AMG Performance steering wheel with haptic buttons, carbon fiber accents, quilted leather, and three rotary knobs for response, agility, and nine-stage traction control.
Platform and Tech
2027 Mercedes-AMG GT 4-Door Coupe will be built on the AMG.EA platform exclusively made for AMG models. This has been optimised for the quad-motor setups, independent battery thermal management, and axial-flux tech.
Launch Timeline
2027 Mercedes-AMG GT 4-Door Coupe is going to be released in the last quarter of 2026 and it’s projected price is around $230,000. This will retire the current GT 63’s 577-831 hp V8 hybrids switching to zero-emission strategy.
