Husqvarna 2027 Motocross Lineup – When Husqvarna revealed their 2027 motocross lineup, I had to really analyze what they showed off. I’ve monitored the PIERER Mobility group for a while now. Personally, I think it might be some of their better products due to the visuals. Compared to their competition, I personally think they stay the course and stick with the Swedish aesthetic and spend more time and energy on design and less on mechanics.
Let’s talk the design and look. I hoped Husqvarna would ditch the dark, stealthy frames from the past few years with something bolder. Kinda did, but not fully. they have given white powder-coated steel frame and paired that chassis with blue and mustard, and that nostalgia hits.
Technical Specs
Underneath those gorgeous new plastics lies a chassis setup I’ve grown to respect. Here are the components I suggest paying closest attention to if you are thinking about upgrading:
It has a more considerate, engineered flex, unlike a stiff all-aluminum setup.
- The Footwear: All full-size models now come with Dunlop Geomax MX34 tires. I think this is a game-changer. They are much more predictable when cornering and are great straight out of the box.
- Controls: I personally think you can’t beat standard Brembo hydraulics, ProTaper handlebars, and ODI lock-on grips. It means you don’t have to immediately spend $500 on aftermarket parts just to make the cockpit feel professional.
Four-Strokes (FC Range) Husqvarna 2027 Motocross Lineup
If you are a four-stroke rider, the electronic suite on these bikes is incredibly sophisticated. You get the map switches, Traction Control, Launch Control, and that sweet Quickshifter. Here is how I view the choices:
FC 250 ($10,799 USD)
I think this bike is an absolute dream for high-RPM screamers. With its aggressive $14.5:1$ compression ratio, it’s built to be pinned. If you love winding a bike out, this is where I’d point you.
FC 350 ($11,199 USD)
If you ask me what the smartest line in motocross is, [I think] the 350 is the ultimate vet bike here. The 350 gives you the lightweight flickable handling of a 250 with the power-to-weight ratio of a 450, so you can keep up with the 450s without killing your arms.
FC 450 ($11,749 USD)
This is the ultimate weapon. [I wanted] to see if the 350’s brute power would feel overwhelming, but thanks to the mass-centralized SOHC engine and Keihin electronics, [I think] it manages to feel incredibly nimble for an open-class machine.
Two-Stroke Husqvarna 2027 Motocross Lineup
As a huge fan of pre-mix, I think Husqvarna is truly pioneering the contemporary two-stroke revolution. Thanks to their TBI (Throttle Body Injection) and electronic power valves, jetting is a thing of the past. So, let’s check out a couple of their current offerings.
TC 125 ($8549)
I have to mention that this is the ideal option for those kids that have outgrown the mini class. This bike is super light, and fast and provides a heap of fun for the rider.
TC 250 ($9749)
This bike has 53hp, and feels like it should be a whole weight-class lower than it is, and I personally think this is probably the most fun and wild bike of the competition! It’s fuel injected, and this makes it a little tamer but way more predictable and keeps that two-stroke edge.
TC 300 ($9699)
I have to say if low end performance is your thing, the 300 does the trick. This bike allows you to ride a gear high through the corners, and maintains that two-stroke lightweight performance, but has the tractability of a four-stroke.
