Arabian CSR Award

During October 2016, DAL Motor Company was recognized as the first runner-up amongst 68 Arab and African institutions in the Arabian Corporate Social Responsibility Award, in the partnership and collaboration category for the school road safety project.
Dubai hosted the awards distribution ceremony, which witnessed the honoring of twenty governmental bodies and private sector institutions who have achieved high levels of excellence and innovation in the field of CSR and sustainability programs.
The ceremony included the distribution of prizes to the winners and presenting certificates of appreciation to the participants in the presence of a wide selection of senior officials, decision-makers, and experts from the field of corporate social responsibility across the region.
The 9th award was held under the auspices of the League of Arab States and the support of the United Nations Environment Program UNEP. Competition was strong with 68 applications of leading public and private institutions, as well as small and medium companies in the Middle East and North African region. Strong competition among seven different categories of participants from different sectors included oil , gas, automotive, telecommunications, banking, and health care.
The schools road safety project was a partnership project between DMC, the Ministry of Education, the Traffic  Authority, as well as the Sadagat community. It aimed to raise awareness amongst students and teachers.
