The Ford Bronco has seen six incarnations, changing from a tiny, tough off-roader to a full-size SUV and now a really capable modern adventure vehicle.
Standard mid-size suspension isn't enough to deal with catching air and taking significant knocks out in the desert. So Nissan used the beefier rear axle and suspension from the full-size Titan.
Nissan just showed off something insane at the 2026 SEMA Show. Instead of building another slow rock-crawler out of their Frontier mid-size pickup, they went full-bore with a high-speed desert runner.
