Hi everybody, it’s Andrew from Dal-motors editorial team! I want to take a closer look at the 2025 vw ID. Buzz. This vehicle has been generating a lot of excitement due to its nostalgic retro look combined with modern features. There’s so much space inside, and we’re going to discover some Easter eggs, performance details, and pricing information.
Pricing and Performance
Before we dive in, let’s talk about pricing. The ID. Buzz is expected to range between $59,000 and $70,000. You have the option of rear-wheel drive (RWD) or all-wheel drive (AWD). The AWD version delivers 335 horsepower, while the driving range varies between 231 and 234 miles, depending on the drivetrain.
Exterior Features
The ID. Buzz in this video is painted Cabana Blue, while the interior is called Dune. Check out the accents—they resemble a peach color, almost like something out of Mario Kart! There’s an impressive amount of room inside, and I can’t wait to show you the headroom and legroom.
One cool feature is the illuminated badge, which moves when you hit a lever—something you only notice when exploring the vehicle.
Advanced Camera and Sensor Technology
At the front, you’ll find cameras and parking sensors, along with a diamond-patterned design. The ID. Buzz is equipped with advanced camera and radar technology, along with functional air vents for improved aerodynamics.
The IQ Light system is another standout feature. The wide windshield offers excellent visibility, and the wipers are massive, ensuring a clear view during rainy conditions.
Interior and Battery Details
The interior features Candy White and Dune leatherette, complemented by a 91-kWh battery. The base model has a single electric motor with rear-wheel drive. The First Edition badge is displayed on the rear, and the vehicle comes with a two-tone exterior.
Safety features are abundant, and DC fast charging is supported, allowing for quick battery replenishment. The rear-wheel drive model offers 234 miles of range, and with a 240V charger, it takes approximately 9 hours to fully charge the battery.
Wheels and Visibility
The ID. Buzz comes with 20-inch wheels (235/50 R20). Many electric vehicles feature unique wheel designs for efficiency, and this model follows that trend.
The tall windows provide excellent visibility, making the vehicle safer for passengers. The turn signal indicators are integrated into the side mirrors, which also house side cameras. Gloss black accents match the pillars for a sleek look.
Rear Design and Cargo Space
At the back, we have backup sensors and a versatile shelving system for storage. The cargo area is designed for stacking and organizing items efficiently.
A cool feature is the third-row seat removal system. You can pull a lever to release the seats, making them as easy to remove as a briefcase. This provides a nearly flat load floor, perfect for transporting larger items.
Seating and Comfort
The ID. Buzz offers ample legroom and flexible seating configurations. The second-row seats slide forward and backward, allowing for adjustable passenger comfort. There are cup holders and USB-C ports on both sides, along with well-placed air vents.
One standout feature is the electrochromic glass, which can switch between frosted and clear modes.
Seats are adjustable and reclinable, providing a comfortable ride. While the seat pockets aren’t the widest, they are lightweight and versatile. The child safety latches are easy to access, and additional storage compartments are scattered throughout the cabin.
Technology and Convenience
The ID. Buzz includes Harman Kardon sound system, memory seats, and additional USB-C charging ports for passengers. The center console is removable, allowing for extra space or reconfiguration if needed.
The leatherette seating is designed for comfort, and the bolstered side supports help keep passengers secure. The two-way lumbar support ensures a relaxed driving experience.
Driver Information and Controls
The steering wheel is finished in white, matching the vehicle’s bright and futuristic interior theme. The infotainment system displays battery charge levels, and this specific unit has 93% charge, showing a 251-mile range.
The pause and play pedals add a fun, quirky touch, while the controls for the clear and frosted glass are easy to use.
