2025 Tesla Model Y Exterior
In the front its rounded nose is replaced by a squared-off, it has Cybertruck-inspired fascia with a full-width LED light bar acting as daytime running lights. The standout feature is its indirect reflective tail light bar which is diffused in a textured panel.
Combined with an extended rear diffuser (protecting the hatch from scratches), it’s both functional and distinctive. There is also new camera on bumper for parking and a drain plug in the frunk (still manual) adds utility for wet gears.
Wheels & Dimensions
2025 Tesla Model Y will have 19-inch wheels as a standard with aerodynamic covers (removable for a sportier look). Also, there is optional choice to get 20-inch “Helix 2.0” wheels reduce range to 303 miles but enhance style. Its dimensions are 4.79 meters long which means it remains a mid-size SUV rivaling the Audi Q6 e-tron and Ford Mustang Mach-E.

The 2025 Tesla Model Y features ventilated and heated seats in the front which addresses past comfort complaints. In the rear now cushions are made longer with headrests are optimized for support.
Synthetic leather wraps are now on door panels while aluminum accents and customizable ambient lighting are given till doors.
Also, to reduce cabin temperature is given silver-coated panoramic roof reflects 26% more heat.
Tech & Controls
All new 15.4-Inch gets our instant attention which has faster processing power Tesla’s infotainment. Still there is no Apple CarPlay/Android Auto which i feel very annoying. One more thing i don’t like is that you will need to pay $9.99/month service charge for premium Connectivity like live traffic, satellite maps, and music streaming.
Impressively, you will get 8-inch touchscreen in the rear which allows control climate, media, seat heating, and even slide the front passenger seat forward.
Physical indicator are now returned but gear selection uses the screen or automatic “Auto Shift”
Powertrain & Range
In the rear wheel drive you get 62.5 kWh LFP battery with 466 km (290 miles) of range. Also, there is long range AWD models with 5 kWh NMC battery and range of up to 387 miles.
2025 Tesla Model Y also has DC fast charging with 169 miles in 15 minutes. Also, you get reliable network of tesla supercharger. This model is designed to achieve 0-60 mph in just 4.6 seconds (AWD Long Range).
