Nissan Reveals 2026 Lineup Amid Sedan Phase-Out Fears

Nissan has confirmed that the 2026 Nissan Altima is not getting discontinued after last 2025 model. It was just an rumor and Nissan will provide refreshed model in 2026 focusing on a streamlined lineup and competitive pricing. Rumor was that Nissan is phasing out their sedan models to focus on SUVs and EVs but it turned out as an rumor.

Rumors and Reversal

It was mid-2024 when this rumor started many automotive news reported about potential discontinuation of Altima and keeping only the Sentra as its sedan.

But recent announcements from Nissan, including pricing and a press kit dated December 15, 2025, confirm the Altima’s continuation for at least the U.S. market.
