2027 Nissan Skyline Specs, Price & Release Date

Alfonso Albaisa, head of the designers team at Nissan has hinted that the 2027 Skyline is going to be a “big, wide, and blocky” styled car. This is inspired from the legendary C10 “Hakosuka” if you guys have seen 60s model then you will know this.

As per teaser we can anticipate return of the circular quad-taillights which have been the DNA of Skyline models for decades. You can expect aesthetic wide stance with lower ground clearance than the current V37.

Powertrain & Performance

2027 Nissan Skyline is going to offer a 3.0 liter twin turbo model with 400 horsepower for base models and tuned to 450 horsepower for the NISMO model. Rear wheel drive is going to be offered as standard with option to chose from 6-speed manual or 9-speed automatic transmission.

Major changes here made is that the manual transmission. Nissan is using same hardware from the current Z to give the Skyline a three-pedal option.

2027 Skyline is likely to debut with Nissan’s “Vision of Mobility Intelligence,” featuring:

  • Nissan AIDV: this is new AI-driven technology from the Nissan making it more accurate and smooth real-time performance and drive assistance.
  • ProPILOT 3.0: this is most advanced hands-free driving technology with “end-to-end” autonomous technologies, this works on highways, daily roads and even on a mountain pass.

Release Date & Pricing

2027 Nissan Skyline is specially designed for the Japanese market however those living in North America have silver lining. It is expected to launch at early 2027 with deliveries expected from the mid 2027.
