Months of anticipation and rumors have finally ended with the first look release of 2027 Mercedes-Benz C-Class Electric (W520).
It’s natural to have concerns that an electric C-Class would be boring, but Mercedes has done an excellent job balancing EQ Series design with C-Class aesthetics. Here is a detailed review of the 2027 C-Class W520 body and its paint booth.

2027 Mercedes-Benz C-Class Electric (W520) Colors Options
Mercedes is going all-in on their “Manufaktur” customized trims for the W520 launch. While the classic silver and black are still offered, the newest palette will be designed to highlight and glint off the ‘One Bow’ curved bodywork.
Normal Color Options
- Opalite White Bright: It’s a metallic white and makes the finish appear as if the body is a single block marble.
- Obsidian Black Metallic: It will be used for the “Executive” trims. Great choice for hiding the facade grille.
- High-Tech Silver: This is a classic Mercedes in color and is good for highlighting the aerodynamic element lining as a result of the car’s sleekness.
- Graphite Grey: This color has a deep metallic and appears as if it’s black, but is actually grey when under street-lighting.
The Manufaktur & Specialty Tones
- Alpine Grey (Solid): This is a trendy Nardo-style flat grey. It makes the C-Class look sporty and tactical.
- Patagonia Red Bright: This bright red stands out against the blacked-out Star Pattern grille.
- Sodalite Blue: This sophisticated blue is the replacement for Lunar Blue. This color is blue up until the sun hits it and can look black.
- Spectra Blue: This is an electric blue, and is only for the AMG-Line trims.
The 2027 C-Class Electric (W520) shows the current direction of Mercedes in more bold territory. The current design is an advancement in technology for its class.
