Hey everyone! If you’ve been around the SUV world for a while, you probably remember the original 1987 Nissan Pathfinder. It was quirky, tough, and had a ton of character. Now, 40 years later, Nissan is taking a trip down memory lane with the 2027 Nissan Pathfinder Special Edition.

The best part? That awesome burgundy interior is making a comeback.
If you’re tired of seeing the same plain black or gray seats in every family hauler, this is for you. Nissan mixed the retro burgundy leather with black accents to give the cabin a much warmer, customized feel. It doesn’t look like a cheap Halloween costume, either. It just makes your everyday drive feel a little more special.
Outside, you won’t see a boxy 80s replica. You get the smooth, modern Pathfinder body, but it sits on slick 20-inch black wheels and features a few subtle red exterior accents.
Under the hood, it’s packing the familiar 3.5-liter V6 engine with 284 horsepower. It still handles family road trips like a champ. Plus, it comes with a solid 6,000-pound towing capacity right out of the gate. That’s plenty of muscle to pull a small boat or a pop-up camper for your weekend getaways.
You can expect to get this at dealership in Next month (November 2026) with expected pricing is around $47,390 for front-wheel drive and $49,390 for all wheel drive.
