Riding High and Mighty
The biggest update is the lift. It now sits at 9.65 inches of ground clearance, which is a massive jump from the 8.27 inches on the 2026 model.
More ground clearance meaning more practicality, you will be safe from the scrapping bottom against the rocks and deep roots. But it also improve angle of driving and give you more visibility on ground terrain condition and more confidence.
A Completely Reworked Suspension
They didn’t just slap a lift kit on it and call it a day. Honda practically gutted the suspension to handle the extra height. Almost 70% of the major parts are brand new—springs, dampers, control arms, you name it.
Newer driveshafts are included for more suspension travel, i assume you will be getting much more comfort even on the tougher roads.
Tech Features
On the tech side, the TrailWatch camera system is now standard on all TrailSport trims, which is great for seeing exactly what you’re driving over on the center screen instead of leaning out the window. Also, a heated steering wheel is finally standard across the board—a nice touch if you’re heading out for early morning trips.
Exterior Changes
Visually, it looks a lot beefier. They widened the fender flares and reshaped the front bumper. They’ve also added these cool amber LED lights in the hood scoop that look great alongside the daytime running lights. If you are into customizing, there’s a new Smoke Blue Pearl paint job and an updated Blackout Package to play around with.
Honestly, it feels like they finally nailed the balance between a comfy daily driver and a weekend trail rig.
