Finally Today, we’re doing much anticipated review of newly facelifted 2025 Honda Civic SI, straight from Franklin, Tennessee. The entire 11th-generation Civic lineup has received some updates for the ’25 model year, but the most meaningful changes are found in the SI variant. The 11th-gen Civic SI has been a fan favorite, and for good reason. With a fresh Urban Gray Pearl color making its debut, the SI stands out on the road. While we can’t fully appreciate the color today due to the lack of sun, it features a nice gray hue with gold flakes.

The Civic SI is equipped with black 18-inch wheels wrapped in Goodyear Eagle F1 performance tires. These tires feature a squared setup: 235/40 R18. While Goodyear isn’t always my top choice, I’m eager to see how they perform on the back roads during our drive today.
As the sedan version of the Civic, the SI offers ample room, making it the most practical option in the lineup.
Trunk Space
Let’s check out the trunk. While it doesn’t match the hatchback’s space, it still offers plenty of room. Underneath, there’s a place to mount a spare tire, though the car comes with an inflator kit instead. For added convenience, the rear seats can fold down using pull tabs for a 60/40 configuration, allowing for a pass-through.
The slightly tinted taillights add a touch of sophistication without looking overdone. Overall, the exterior changes are minimal, but they maintain the Civic’s sleek and sporty aesthetic.

Jumping into the back seat, we find familiar Civic SI features. While the rear seats are spacious, they lack additional amenities like vents and seat back pockets. However, we do have a fold-down armrest with cupholders, and red stitching adds a sporty touch.
In the front, the excitement ramps up. The heated seats are now standard, addressing a common complaint from enthusiasts. The Civic Type R-inspired gauge cluster features shift lights that will enhance the driving experience.
Under the Hood
Now, let’s pop the hood. The 2025 Civic SI continues to be powered by the turbocharged 1.5L four-cylinder engine, producing 200 horsepower and 192 lb-ft of torque. The absence of an engine cover reveals a straightforward engine bay.
The six-speed manual transmission remains the sole option for the SI. A new addition for 2025 is the auto rev matching feature, which now works from second to first gear. Additionally, the helical front limited-slip differential enhances traction and performance.
