Yes, we are talking about the world’s largest car maker entering the segment. Because there are at least nine reasons why 2025 Toyota Stout will dominate the small truck market.
1. Fuel Efficiency
Like most Toyota models, the all-new 2025 Stout will be offered with a hybrid powertrain, and therefore, we expect it to be extremely efficient. The Maverick already set pretty high standards with its hybrid powertrain.

2. Capable Turbo 4 Option
But hybrid powertrains won’t be the only ones on offer. According to the latest reports, it looks like Toyota is willing to offer the new pickup also with conventional gas-only powertrains. There could be two of them.
Starting from the naturally aspirated 2.5L inline 4 that puts out around 203 horsepower. That engine would probably be reserved for the entry-level Stout. But we also count on the version equipped with the new 2.4L turbo 4.
