2026 Dacia Solenza: Rumor vs Reality

I am writing this post of 26 September 2025 and let me tell you there is no official announcement on the 2026 Dacia Solenza. It was last produced in the 2003 to 2005 and then discontinued now Dacia is currently focusing on models like Duster, Bigster, Jogger, Sandero, and the Sandriders program, but not Solenza.

Official status in 2025

Dacia’s global and UK press rooms list recent announcements concerning the Duster’s powertrain range, the Bigster’s market rollout, executive appointments, and motorsport activities, but they contain no Solenza product announcement or preview for 2026.

This aligns with Dacia’s public product trajectory emphasizing CMF‑B–based crossovers like Duster and the forthcoming Bigster, plus mainstream nameplates such as Sandero, Logan, and Jogger, rather than reviving a legacy Solenza sedan or liftback line.

Why rumors about 2026 Dacia Solenza exist?

There are multiple AI generated videos available on the youtube and other media platforms which has made some hype about return of Solenza nameplate but it is not real and official. Such videos often present such concepts but they are not real and we are not going to see anything in future like that. You should only rely on Dacia’s press sites for authentic information.

How to verify real announcements?

To validate any future Solenza news, check Dacia’s global media newsroom and regional press sites, which publish model reveals, technical details, and pricing, and will list Solenza if the nameplate returns. Absence from these channels while appearing in influencer videos is a strong indicator that claims remain unofficial and should be treated cautiously until corroborated by manufacturer releases.

Period specifications snapshot

Solenza back in time had 1.4 liter of engine which used to produce 75 hp and had 5-speed manual only transmission with front wheel drive only. This was an budget friendly model with dimensions of 4,080 mm long, 1,664 mm wide, and 1,379 mm height. It will now rest in only collectors garages and in the dreams like us who aspire to own one.
