Exterior Design

Daihatsu made the 2026 Rocky 4×4 look bold and new to fit city life and rough paths. The front has a big grill with black edges and round LED lights. The strong bumper and guard plate help it handle rocks better. The sides look small but tough with wide wheel covers, 17-inch metal wheels on rough-road tires, and higher ground space of 200 mm.

The roof bars now hold more weight for bikes or camp gear. The back has a new bumper, bright LED lights, and a part that makes it look sturdy. It measures 4,165 mm long, 1,695 mm wide, and 1,620 mm high, so it moves easy in tight spots but stands firm on dirt.

Interior Design

When you get in, the inside uses tough, easy-clean cloth and a setup that fits five people well. It has a clear digital screen for info and a 9-inch touch screen for music and maps with wireless phone links.

Safety tools include auto speed control, lane watch, crash stop, side view checks, and hill help for safe slopes. There is good space for legs and head, and back seats fold to add room from 369 liters for bags. Auto air with back vents and soft lights make drives better.

Engine & Performance

The 2026 Daihatsu Rocky 4×4 is going to feature all-wheel drive with drive modes like mud, sand, or snow. The main engine is going to 1.0-liter with turbo power 98 to 130 horse power and 140 to 210 Nm torque power.

You have option of choosing from the five-gear stick shift or auto CVT with hand controls. It is going to offer 22 km per liter in hybrid, hits 100 km/h in 11.5 seconds for turbo. It’s top speed is expected to be around 170 km/h.

Release Date

Daihatsu does not sell cars directly in the USA, so the 2026 Rocky 4×4 has no confirmed release date there. This model focuses on markets like Indonesia and Japan, where it plans to start sales in 2026.

Toyota, which owns Daihatsu, might offer similar small SUVs in the US under different names, but nothing is set for this one yet. If you want off-road options in America, look at models like the Toyota RAV4 or Subaru Crosstrek instead.
