Exterior Design of 2026 Lexus LS
The 2026 Lexus LS will have coupe inspired silhouette with 5.23m length, 1.90m width, 1.45m height. It’s iconic spindle grille is being enhanced with integration of next-generation Digital Matrix LED headlights. It twill also have adaptive beam patterns for modern touch.
All new C-pillar and sloping roofline enhance aerodynamic efficiency (Cd reduced to 0.24) without compromising rear headroom. In the rear, it features full LED taillights providing attractive and aggressive look in the night. New wheel designs up to 22 inches and exclusive “Polo Edition” paint finishes further enhances its road presence.

In the cabin you will get to see 14-inch Organic Light-Emitting Diode (OLED) touchscreen which fully loaded with the AI features. This AI system learns user preferences, proactively suggesting routes, adjusting climate/massage settings, and curating entertainment via the unparalleled Mark Levinson 3D QLI Surround Sound system (23 speakers, 2400W).
Biometric authentication personalizes is given for seating, mirror, climate, and media profiles instantly.
New holistic climate control system integrates quad-zone automatic climate control, heated/ventilated/massaging Shiatsu seats (front and rear), and even fragrance diffusion. Rear passengers can now enjoy Executive Lounge seating with “Relaxation Functions.”

Powertrains & Performance
2026 Lexus LS will be offering three different powertrains:
- LS 580 (Polo V8 Twin-Turbo Hybrid): This is going to be a flagship 4.4-liter Twin-Turbo V8 engine ready to produce 520 horsepower and 750 Nm (553 lb-ft) of torque. It is going to achieve 0-100 km/h in ~4.2 seconds.
- LS 500h (Advanced V6 Hybrid) is proven 3.5L V6 Atkinson-cycle engine combined with dual electric motors will have combined system output to 380 horsepower. It is less potent than V8 but it has smoothness and efficiency (~26 MPG combined estimated)
- LS 550e (All-Electric Flagship – Overseas Markets): This is Lexus’s electric future, this variant will have 620 km (385 miles) with support of ultra fast charging. For power it will have 480 horsepower and 700 Nm (516 lb-ft) of torque, enabling 0-100 km/h in under 4.5 seconds.
For 2026 Lexus LS there will be a standard Direct4 electronic all-wheel drive system ready to manage torque front-to-rear and side-to-side. Drivers can choose from Eco, Comfort, Normal, Sport S, and Sport S+ modes, significantly altering throttle, steering, suspension, and transmission response.
Safety Features of 2026 Lexus LS
- Advanced Teammate: 2025 LS 500h will have Level 2+ hands-free operation on mapped highways, including automated lane changes, overtaking, and highway interchange navigation. It’s sensor fusions are now more improved and made more reliable.
- Proactive Driving Assist (PDA): this will be standard on all the trims, PDA uses gentle braking and steering inputs to help avoid collisions not just front/rear, but also in complex cross-traffic or pedestrian scenarios.
- Parking Suite: Fully automated remote parking via smartphone app is now standard.
- Driver Monitoring: An AI-powered cabin camera tracks driver attention, gaze direction, and vital signs (via steering wheel sensors).
