Rumors of “N-Box Camper” have been circulating a lot recently, There is no official confirmation about it but it is true for the Honda N-Box Joy. This was officially unveiled in the late 2024 as a third generation of N-Box lineup. This adventure style kei car was designed in a such a way that you will get micro-camper straight from the factory.
2026 N-Box Joy (Camper)
The 2026 N-Box Joy was the Honda’s adventure car designed to cater the demand of growing “outdoor vehicles” in Japan. This was designed with “terrace” concept for flat and lunge like interior space that can be converted into the sleeping area without need of any aftermarket modifications.
Camper like interior design
2026 N-Box Camper is going to redefine modular interior and it will be designed in such a way that it will feel like small RV.
- Terrace Mode : You can fold its rear seats completely to create a lounge like space. Unlike any other traditional seats that leaves a slope when folded down this provides stable flat surface useful for mat and camping bed.
- Water-Repellent Upholstery : My personal favourite and useful utility that these seats are distinctive and made from the water-repellent fabric. so you don’t have to worry about getting water or your drinks getting spoiled on seat.
- Hidden Storage: below rear cargo floor you will get a “secret” compartment. This sub trunk gives you enough space for your regular hiking accessories like boots, cloths, folding chair and many more.
Exterior Design
2026 N-Box Camper is going to feature exterior aesthetics like Suzuki Jimny or Daihatsu Taft:
In the front we will see dedicated matte black grille instead of the black grille in the standard model. Also, it will feature heavy duty bumper and integrated fog lights. There is also black plastic cladding which will runs through side skirts and wheel arches which is designed to protect against the gravels of the rough terrain.
Wheels will be retro styled and has silver center caps to making its look as an classic utility van.
