2027 Acura MDX is going to be tech friendly and futuristic electric premium SUV. Although, as of now we don’t have official announcement about it but following are some of the rumored and leaked details.
Exterior Refinements for 2027 Acura MDX
2027 Acura MDX exterior is going to be redesigned with more aggressive front fascia with open-frame Diamond Pentagon grille in a new mesh pattern. Side intakes and fog lights are going to be changed, and both the headlights and taillights are going to feature a darker tint. I think all of these changes are made to make it look more sporty SUV.
Rumors are that it is going to have 20-inch wheels and Type S might get 22-inch wheels. We are expecting at least two new colors with 2027 Acura MDX.
Interior Upgrades and Technology
Lets move to interior part of 2027 Acura MDX, We are going to have all new massive 14-inch touchscreen display. Built in Google services and apple play wireless are standard.
Also, there is new center console with improved storage and new wireless charging pad. 16 way power adjustable seats in front are going to be standard. Added lighting to the panoramic moonroof is going to be gamechanger in this modern SUV.
We are going to see upgraded Bang & Olufsen to deliver premium audio system with 19-speaker setup. But guess what? Type S variant going to feature exclusive 31-speaker system. 12 speakers are placed in the headliner to boost immersive audio.
2027 Acura MDX Performance and Powertrain
2027 Acura MDX is rumored to feature dual motor 3.5-liter V6 engine with 300 to 325 horsepower. While Type S variant is going to 3.0-liter turbocharged V6 engine with hybrid two motor setup this will be producing around 335 to 350 horsepower.
Both of these engines are going to have 10-speed automatic transmission, but Type S going to get sport-tuned version for more smooth driving.
Advanced Safety Features
2027 Acura MDX will be fully loaded with with AcuraWatch 360 which i believe going to be standard across all the trims of MDX but we have to wait for the official announcement. Active Lane Change Assist, Lane Change Collision Mitigation, and Front Cross Traffic Warning are few of them highlighted features.
Expected Release Date & Pricing of 2027 Acura MDX
As per my understanding and some leaked details 2027 Acura MDX will be revealed in September 2026. While production is slated to begin at the start of November 2026. It is expected to be available at dealership somewhere in the February 2027.
