It is estimated that it has been affected about 229,000 vehicles. If instrument panel falls then you can not see key info like speed and warning lights which increase chances of car crash.
Main issue is with the instrument panel cluster yes the same screen where you see speed, fuel and other important alerts. in affected vehicles this is not lighting up properly. This is why National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has asked for the recall.

Total Cars Affected
As per ford and NHTSA 101,002 Ford Broncos that were manufactured on May 31, 2024, and Nov 3, 2025 are affected while 128,607 Ford Bronco Sports models which are produced around March 7, 2024, and Nov 3, 2025 are affected.
