Affordable Models
Tesla is working on two low cost models:
- Entry-Level Model Y: This low cost model will not have premium features like glass roofs, premium audio, rear touchscreens, ventilated seats, and advanced Autopilot. After such feature removals it will definitely be affordable but will it appeal the buyers?
- Compact Model 3 Variant: this compact Tesla will have smaller screen, limited fucntionality and potentially smaller dimensions than standard model 3.
Robotaxi (Cybercab)
Most ambitious project from Tesla is their autonomous driving cybercab taxi it will have no manual controls like (steering wheel, pedals), the two-seat cabin features dihedral doors, minimalist surfaces, and a massive central touchscreen.
Tesla plans to produce the Robotaxi using its revolutionary “unboxed” manufacturing strategy, potentially reducing production costs by 40% compared to traditional methods.
