Exterior & Interior Design

2026 Mitsubishi Grandis is an latin name which means “large and impressive” and yes it stays true to its nameplate of being large and impressive. in the front we are going to see Mitsubishi’s signature Dynamic Shield grille, sculpted shoulder lines, and 19-inch alloy which makes it look much taller and high profile SUV.

However, despite being tall this SUV remains compact in dimensions 4.4m length which i personally feel more useful in city driving. also, its 1,455L max cargo capacity when seats folded showcase its practicality.

We can not ignore the smart interior of 2026 Mitsubishi Grandis, it features 160mm Sliding Rear Bench which improves extra cargo (566L) or backward for legroom. Added new panoramic roof which features glass controls heat/glare at a touch is much more practical now.

Also, we have to admire Hands-Free Power Tailgate which opens by a foot sensor is just more premium features that rivals lacks.

Tech & Connectivity Features

Despite being economical in pricing 2026 Mitsubishi Grandis offers lots of tech features like:

  • Google Integration, Zero Cables
  • Google Built-In™
  • A 10.4-inch vertical touchscreen runs native Maps, Assistant, and Play Store.
  • Use voice commands (“Hey Google, open the sunroof”) for climate, navigation, or media.
  • Remotely lock doors,
  • Check fuel levels on App,
  • Pre-cool the cabin via smartphone.
  • Premium Harman Kardon Audio: 10-speaker setup.

To me this looks like an complete package of tech and performance.

Engine & Performance

Mitsubishi is going to offer two hybrid powertrains:

  • 1.3L Mild Hybrid (MHEV): this will feature 140 horsepower with battery of 48V paired with 6-speed manual/7-speed DCT. More impressively it will deliver fuel economy of 5.1L/100km (combined) which is impressive in this segment.
  • 1.8L Full Hybrid (HEV): this second powertrain option is going to have 156 horsepower with complete EV mode. It has self charging capability and improves range by 60 miles.

Safety Features

2026 Mitsubishi Grandis will feature Mitsubishi’s MI-PILOT semi-autonomous system which has features like:

  • Adaptive Cruise Control (stop/go capable)
  • Lane Centering Assist 360° Camera + Blind-Spot Monitoring
  • Safe Exit Assist: Blocks doors if traffic approaches.

Pricing & Warranty

With this vehicle you get industry-leading 8-year/160,000 km warranty (extendable) and 24/7 roadside assistance. This will be priced at €30,900 (Europe) and $36,600 (U.S). For me it seems like a good alternative to Toyota Corolla Cross Hybrid (€34,500).
