Honestly, I was in shock when i heard about the 2027 BMW M3 CS specs. It is going to feature 6-speed manual and RWD which is perfect for the classic BMW fans. This is the first and probably last time we see a modern factory M3 CS has a manual because how fast is EV vehicles are growing.
Some people may be disappointed with BMW putting S58 twin-turbo inline-six which produces 473-horsepower rather than the automatic version’s 543-hp monster.
| Attribute | Specification |
|---|---|
| Engine | 3.0L Twin-Turbo Inline-6 (S58) |
| Horsepower | 473 hp |
| Torque | 406 lb-ft |
| Transmission | 6-speed manual (Handschalter) |
| Drivetrain | Rear-Wheel Drive (RWD) |
| 0–60 mph | 4.1 seconds |
| Top Speed | 180 mph |
I get why seeing a drop in horsepower would be the first impression, but this car is about way more than the performance numbers.
Talking from my experience with modern performance cars, if you have only the rear axle driven through a physical stick and your car just has 473 hp, you will be perfectly fine. I think it will reach 0-60 mph just under 4 seconds.
Design
I love the look of 2027 BMW M3 CS Handschalter. The headlights look super aggressive, and the bodywork just looks mean. It has four doors, and the back seats are useful, but the back has awesome M Carbon bucket seats. The seats also look cool with their red and black Merino leather.
The price starts at $108,450. This also makes it the most expensive manual M3 ever built, making it hard to own.
